What lies at your feet is always easier to see than the distant future or even the past, but remember what you've learned and stay focused on the path you're walking.

Footprints

Some footsteps leave more of a mark than others, deeper, more defined, and they don't fade away as fast or at all. It all depends on what you step on.

Farewell Florida

I love the warm weather, the golf courses, and the smell of the ocean down here in Florida. The beach is my absolute favorite. But I'm glad to be going home to my love.

Spread those wings

So I'm finally in Florida but there's an ugly shadow constantly in the back of my mind. I find it difficult to go about my day and stay focused on anything. I think way too much and I can't sleep very well. As far away as I am, I still just can't get free from it.

Caryville

I should be in Florida by Saturday, we stopped in Caryville, TN for the night. This hotel is impressive, HD television, a ton of space, a huge bathroom, and a lake view. Traffic getting out of Ohio sucked, typical construction tie-ups.

Side Note: Rima's Diner is a must! And I want to spend a day in Cincinnati shooting pictures.
